Coach Education Unit held the U-15 Western Province North Zone 2 Player Education and Motivation Program it took place at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium (RPICS), from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on the 24th of October. This program, aimed at enhancing young cricketers’ skills and mindset, was led by a seasoned Coach Educator Nilantha Wimalaweera. The session covered vital aspects of the game, including technique refinement, match awareness, and mental toughness key elements for building well-rounded players. Through interactive discussions and practical demonstrations, the participants were motivated to adopt a professional approach both on and off the field. The program served as a foundation for improving their game understanding, with a strong focus on sportsmanship, teamwork, and the importance of a positive attitude in competitive cricket.
