The Coach Education Unit hosted a Player Education & Motivation Workshop for the U-15 players of Western Province North Zone-3 on 23rd October at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium. Led by Coach Educator Nilantha Wimalaweera, this workshop aimed to inspire and guide young athletes through several key developmental areas.

The session emphasized goal setting and career pathways, encouraging players to establish both short- and long-term objectives while exploring future opportunities in cricket. The importance of discipline and commitment was highlighted, focusing on how to balance sports with academics for overall growth.

Additionally, the workshop addressed mental resilience, teaching techniques to handle pressure, overcome setbacks, and maintain a positive mindset. The significance of teamwork and leadership was also underscored, promoting effective communication and collaboration within teams.
