The Coach Education Unit hosted a U15 Player Education Program for all Western Province North Zone 1 players, which took place at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo on October 22nd. This comprehensive program was led by the highly experienced Coach Educator Nilantha Wimalaweera, who brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the session.

The initiative aimed to develop young cricketers by focusing on essential skills such as discipline and time management, enabling players to balance their training and academic responsibilities effectively. Mental toughness was a key focus, equipping participants with techniques to handle pressure during matches. Through teamwork and leadership activities, players learned the importance of collaboration and effective communication on the field. Overall, this program provided invaluable tools for personal growth, confidence-building, and success in cricket and beyond.
